Add-on to moto-racing software
Schneiderka, Dominik ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor´s thesis was to establish communication with scoreboard via RS-485 and develop application for reporter. Communication with scoreboard was added to existing program Regularity Rally, also main errors were corrected. To ensure correct behavior the existing database was slightly modified. All programs were developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 and written in programming language C#. The database was developed via MySQL.
History of automation and clock machines in Bohemia
Krajíček, Lukáš ; Zbořil, Miroslav (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
Clock makers were the inventors of the first automatic machines. This thesis deals with description of the mechanical clock machine housed in the church tower in Nová Říše, and documents the history of automation in Bohemia. The text describes the history of this clock, as well as difficulties that arose during its construction, as well as its maintenance and regulation. Information is also provided which pertains to the exposition of this clock at the Technical Museum in Brno.
Software for Regularity Racing
Kříž, Petr ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The main goal of this master‘s thesis was to create software solution suitable for measuring and results processing of regularity rally races and to create supplementary web application. The measuring application was created using integrated development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and c# programming language. For application to work correctly, it was necessary to create a database model, using MySQL relational database management system. The measuring application can work both with local and remote database server. Web application allows user to see various data including results of racing events or tournaments, data are being fetched from the MySQL database. There was an option to explore existing circuit racing software Vola Timing Circuit – Pro for inspiration.
Universal timer for sport activity
Janůš, Tomáš ; Klíma, Martin (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a proposal and implementation of wireless electronic time measurement. In the thesis a proposal and implementation of simple wireless time measurement is described. Its part is also a proposal and creating of the optical barrier. The theoretical part further contains description and usage of various sensors. All sensors are wirelessly interconnected with the main device. The time measurement is being processed in the computer by means of a created programme which enables to control the time measurement and to save measured times as well.
Wireless sports timer
Gál, Marek ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with design and realization of universal sport timer and uses wireless communication between individual components. The purposes is to achieve maximum mobility, reliability and simplicity for users. This work doesn‘t deal with sensing elements of measuring system, it only provides examples of their typical usage. The content of this proposal is the primary unit, which will ensure time measurement with 0,01s resolution and the secondary unit, which will track a sensing elements and provide information for processing to primary unit. The design comprises communication method, hardware of all devices and firmware.
Software for Hill Climb Racing
Lichosyt, Tomáš ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Thesis analyses the problem about motorsport discipline hill climb races. Using the findings is designed database structure and created user application together with websites for current result publishing. The work also describes the hardware that is compatible with this application.
Design of pendulum clock
Havránek, Jakub ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns with the design of the mechanical wall pendulum clock. This product should be characterized by the combination of glamour and reliability of the fine mechanics together with modern design language and high-quality materials. Author’s objective is to create the mechanical clock which would correspond to the contemporary design trends, taking up the old tradition of watchmaking along with being electrical power independent and taking advantage of the opportunity on the present-day markets.
Firmware for Multi-Unit Wireless Sports Timekeeping Device
Gál, David ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This paper describes the design and subsequent implementation of software for multi-unit wireless sports timekeeping device. Used hardware is based on a different thesis and is composed of a control, the primary unit, and end, secondary, units. Both types are equipped with 16-bit PIC24F microcontrollers and wireless communication is catered by RF modules broadcasting in the 868MHz band. The design is aimed primarily at wireless use of secondary units to measure time and to eliminate measurement errors associated with wireless transmission. It also deals with reducing the consumption of units and the use SD cards to store the measured times. Implementation is done in C.
Digital spot-watch
Mejzlík, Vladimír ; Kolouch, Jaromír (referee) ; Michálek, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis discusses options of realization of digital stopwatch with microprocessor line of MCS51. There are analyse different circuit variants, which might enable connection with microprocessor for achieve optimal result. The aim is design circuit solution and source materials for creation of functional prototype of digital stopwatch including development of service software. Verification of functionality and prossesing of achieved aims is part of solution.
Sophisticated Stopwatch for Measuring Times in Competitions
Skryja, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I will deal with the design of a mobile application for organizing competitions. The main goal of the application is to simplify the organization of contestants, their division into individual categories and time measurement. The app is created for the Android operating system. I will introduce the basic Android components and Android Studio development environment. In detail, I will devote myself to application design and individual functions.
